Born in Peru, Steven Salgado is an actor, writer, and film director. He has directed three feature films including Cinderella: The Enchanted Beginning, Rapunzel A princess Frozen in Time, Snow White and many other shorts and documentaries. Steven studied Drama at the National School of Drama in Peru, along with writing, mime and dance. He graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree (A.A) in Film Production at Miami-Dade College in Miami, FL. He is acquiring a Bachelor's Degree in Film, Television, and Digital Production at Miami-Dade College.
Veteran TV host, Interviewer, Movie Critic and Entrepreneur Steven M Samblis had a meteoric career in business that saw him go from being ranked among the top 50 rookie stock brokers at Dean Witter Reynolds, to hosting seminars before 250,000 people in 1999 for The Investors Institute. He went on to speak before congress on shareholder's rights representing T Boone Pickens' "United Shares Holders Association." In 1989, Steve created the first Fax based marketing company selling self-improvement programs. As the company grew into one of the largest sellers of self-improvement in North America, he expanded into the production of audio programs with the opening of Ziglar Productions where they produced Zig's "The Secret of Staying Motivated" and "The Secrets of Closing The Sales". Steve collaborated with Chicken Soup for the Soul co-creator Mark Victor Hansen on the audio program that told the story of the company and how others could use permission based fax marketing. The program, called "The Worlds Greatest Marketing Tools". That program sold over 100,000 copies in the first 3 months of its release. In 2000 Steve launched and took public Self Help Zone Inc. which was founded to capitalize on the "new opportunity" for on-line Self Help Audio, Video and Book retailing. Before it was popular, Steve felt the Self Help industry was particularly suited to on-line retailing because of its unlimited on-line shelf space offering customers a vast selection through an efficient search and retrieval interface. After a successful IPO and launch the company was sold to Ultimate Knowledge. Steve created for his friend Mike Grondahl, a new name brand for his struggling gym, Coastal Fitness, in Dover New Hampshire. He then created the $9.95 a month business model which turned the single gym into one of the most popular network of gyms in North America, Planet Fitness. In November of 2015 Planet Fitness went public with a 1.6 billion dollar market valuation. For 6 years, before launching Envision TV, Steve hosted The Hollywood Fast Lane, a television show syndicated in North America and the UK. On the show Steve has interviewed over 1000 of the biggest actors and directors in entertainment one on one on camera. This lead to the creation and recent launch of The Movie News Network (another Envision TV property? Recently Steve co-produced his first movie, Vigilante Diaries starring Michael Jai White from The Dark Knight, Michael Madsen from Reservoir Dogs and The Hateful Eight, Danny Trejo from Machete and Jason Mewes of Jay and Silent Bob fame.

In 2011, he played Thersites in Trolius and Cressida in a University of Exeter production at the Globe Theatre in London, UK. In 2013, he played Mr. Kraler in Anne Frank, to a sold out run at Noho Arts in LA. He has extensive theatre credits in New York, United Kingdom, Los Angeles and regionally. He's a classically trained actor, producer of theatre/film and writer. A leading role in the short film Sunday Sundaes (2013), won Best Youth Short at the Eugene International Film Festival. He played Seamus, a supporting role in the feature film Mothers and Daughters (2016). In 2019, he played the lead, Robert in Grown Boy, a timely, self discovery short film. In 2020, Grown Boy received an official selection to the Cannes Film Festival. Steven graduated from the London Acadamy of Music and Dramatuc Arts (LAMDA) and attended the MFA program at University of Exeter.
