Growing up, Rebekah always enjoyed producing short videos with her family and friends as a hobby, but it wasn't until she decided to go all in and write, direct, and act in her first feature length film, Through the Storm, that she truly discovered the white-hot passion Jesus gave her for storytelling through film. For Rebekah, stories go beyond mere entertainment as they have the power to inspire, to heal, to bond, to touch hearts, and to change the world. People love stories because we are each living one out - collectively and individually. The reason we love stories filled with adventure and beauty and passion is because they remind us of the ultimate story that has been unfolding since the beginning of time. They remind us that something is missing - something we were always meant to have. Rebekah graduated from the University of Central Florida, crafting her own Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on Linguistic Interpretation/ASL Performance, History and Biblical Studies, and a minor in Entrepreneurship. She is the director of Harbor Lights Productions, an independent film company in the Central Florida area. Her professional goal is to continue to grow the company to produce movies and documentaries that will expose, and therefore help eradicate, social injustices such as sex trafficking and slavery. She is passionate about proactively striving towards freeing, healing, and bringing justice to victims of these terrible trades in whatever capacity she is able. The reason why we love this world is that it sometimes reminds us of what it was meant to be and of what it will be. Rebekah hopes to use film to help reclaim its lost beauty, adventure, and passion. Her deepest desire is to produce content that glorifies Christ by changing the hearts of its viewers. Will you join her story?
