David Marchant is an American actor, entrepreneur, military veteran, ex-cop and former towing owner-operator from Dorchester, Boston, Massachusetts. David enlisted in the United States Air Force after graduating high school, almost immediately following the tragic 9/11 attacks. David joined as a Security Forces member with the interest of the law enforcement career field in mind but was ultimately on a mission to fulfill his childhood dream of becoming an elite fighter pilot and was actively taking classes at Emory Riddle Aeronautical University. After his initial 18 months of service that goal went to the wayside as he was selected to serve as an elite member of the Presidential Airlift group in the protection of former U.S. President George W. Bush & Air Force One in conjunction with the Secret Service. After proudly serving six years on active duty, including his time on presidential duty and a tour in Iraq/Afghanistan during Operation Enduring & Iraqi Freedom, David decided to leave the military behind and explore civilian life. David fulfilled his contract commitment and separated from the military in 2008 with an honorable discharge. David returned home and joined the ranks of the Boston Police Department. He went on to proudly serve 7 years as a distinguished highly decorated officer. David was on duty & on location during the tragic 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and is honored to be part of the Boston Strong movement which will be forever known as one of the most devastating, but also inspirational stories in the world to date. David later resigned from the department in 2015. Following his tenure with the police, David pursued entrepreneurship and solely founded Beantown Towing, LLC. which went on to become one of the most well known and respected towing & emergency roadside assistance companies in the Boston metro area. Following several years of highly successful business, David came to the conclusion that towing did not fulfill the void that remained inside him, but more importantly, he realized that towing was not utilizing his full potential nor was it his true calling so he decided to close the company in order to pursue a full time career in the arts. David has taken his abundance of past training and life experience to now use in the extraordinary world of imaginary circumstances by pursuing his passion for acting on camera in both television & film. To date, David has appeared in many films playing various roles such as a police officer, special agent, military soldier, high school theater teacher and many more. David is also in the process of writing multiple screenplays based on his own personal stories that highlight his troubled past and how those challenges changed his life for the better and made him who he is today. David is constantly training with some of the most widely respected acting teachers & coaches to stay prepared for the next opportunity and is quickly making his name known throughout the entertainment industry.
