Danny is just an ordinary guy living an extraordinary life. Born to a Mexican mother and an Irish father, Danny grew up all over California. Danny is a retired decorated Deputy Sheriff who was nearly killed and permanently disabled in the line of duty. He suffered from excruciating pain every second of every day of his life until he healed his mind and body holistically. His darkest moments in life became his greatest gifts, and now he empowers others to do the same by sharing inspirational stories from Hurt to Happiness. Danny co-host an inspirational podcast called "Conversations with Friends" and is currently in production of a New Media participatory Docu-Series that he created and host, which shares inspirational stories of Tragedy to Triumph from everyday people from around the world. Danny studied holistic healing and also earn a Master's Degree in Spiritual Psychology. Danny is a Director for a Personal Development Leadership company called the Institute for Next Level Leadership (INLLE). Danny co-created a personal growth Social Emotional program in Los Angeles for underprivileged middle school children, that inspires them to love and express themselves more authentically. Danny was inwardly guided into acting and filmmaking as a vehicle to deepen in his own empathy, while also stimulating more compassion in the world. Danny also played a lead role in Amazon Prime's "37 Problems" New Year's Eve Special" (S2E3), which he also co-wrote and co-directed.

Danny Mika, born Daniel Mika, was born in Fullerton, California to his parents who are Polish immigrants. His father Marek Mika, is a proprietor of a small printing business, whereas his mother Barbara Mika formerly an accountant. Mika attended the University of Colorado for a degree in chemistry, but opted to leave before completion to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Mika performed in various theatres, and been a part of the principal cast in numerous films.
