Dheepa Ramanujam is an Indian American actor. She was born and raised in South India. In 1995, she was spotted by renowned director K. Balachander and he cast her in Premi, a popular television series. She was a series regular and she got accolades for her performance and portrayal of "Shenbagam Athai". Around the same time she was introduced to theater by her colleague and mentor "Bombay Gnanam" in her all women theater group. Inspired by that, she founded Krea, a community theater group, when she moved to the USA in 2000. With Krea she has produced and directed 10 plays and multiple shows across the United States and India. She has been acting mainly in South Indian films, shuttling between the Bay area and Chennai. Her role in the 2015 blockbuster film "Pichaikaran / Bichagadu" is still being talked about. She recently turned into a producer. She was the Associate producer of "Atkan Chatkan" a Children's musical presented by AR Rahman.

Indian-born Dheeraj Akolka graduated in architecture at Pune University but never practiced his job.
