Growing up as a kid in Newark New Jersey Anthony Hawkins always had aspirations of becoming a renowned actor. Anthony had many other interest, which in 2009 led him to devry university studying gaming simulation programming. After about two and a half years he realized that gaming didn't satisfy his hunger for success,at that moment he knew his childhood passion to be an actor was what his heart truly desired. Shortly after Hawkins returned to Newark to pursue his acting career. dedicated to being the best actor he could be, he began studying youtube videos to educate himself on his career before transitioning to the New Jersey School Of Dramatic Arts. During this time he honed his skills and developed a better understanding of his craft. Following three years of hard work Anthony had completed his studies at New Jersey School Of Dramatic Arts, before choosing to venture off to NewYork City to study under Marc John Jefferies for an additional three years. Meanwhile Hawkins took the initiative to undergo other acting classes while in New York. In the early stages of his career Anthony has done background work and more notably he has appeared on the show I am homicide and has been involved in a number of other feature films and short films.

He's the youngest son of Seafield Head (a documentary filmmaker) and Helen Shingler (an actress). He is the younger brother of musician/actor Murray Head who originated the role of Judas on the original album of 'Jesus Christ Superstar'. His long term partner is former theatre administrator Sarah Fisher who he met when he was 28, and they are the parents of actresses Emily Head and Daisy Head. Besides acting, Head takes after his brother in being an accomplished singer, and they have appeared in many of the same productions, although never at the same time. In 1983, he was in a band named "Two Way". The band released a 45 single with three songs, produced by Richard Dodd and Ron Roker. Head's other skills are horse riding, swimming, scuba diving, piano, guitar and stage fighting.
