Stefanie Woodburn
Stefanie Woodburn is a mixed Chinese-American writer, actress, and filmmaker from Maryland. She is a graduate of the 2018 CAPE New Writers Fellowship, the 2018 Ron Howard & Brian Grazer's inaugural IMAGINE IMPACT Fellowship, and the 2021-2022 CBS TV Writing Fellowship. An NYU summa cum laude grad and entertainment technology consultant, she found her voice on Twitch and created the first short film funded through streaming video games, POLE, an official selection in 18 film festivals. She launched into the arts through dance captaining high school show choir and musicals, and her theater background includes performing in NYC and Paris. Her ethnicity is half-Chinese and half-Danish/German/Irish/Scottish/English mix.
Stefanie believes strongly in education, and her mission is to inspire compassion and understanding through media featuring women leadership and multiculturalism, championing each person's strength, value, and worth. She volunteers with WriteGirl, a creative writing and mentoring organization that promotes creativity, critical thinking and leadership skills to empower teen girls.
